The Last Samurai

This is my favorite movie of all time. I believe that over the years I have seen it probably twenty or thirty times. The Last Samurai is an underrated classic of a movie that doe not get nearly any of the praise it deserves. Everything is perfect the setting, the characters and the story. I would not change a single thing about it. Everything is the way it should be its like a perfect song that should never get a remix. There is not much more for me to say other than go watch it you wont be disappointed.

A cinematographic masterpiece. Beautiful, haunting music all throughout that keeps you on a perpetual emotional high. The storyline is a bit dramatized, but delivers on all the big moments.

this is an action movie but still left me feeling peaceful !!

I assumed it to be a run-off-the-mill common movie based on the introduction of tom cruise and the title. Like Minority Report.
What I got was way beyond my expectations. The story felt like a predecessor to James Camerons _Avatar_. All in all I recommend it in every way.

"The Last Samurai" is a very epic film with great story and incredible acting from Ken Watanabe. The acting and fantastic battle scenes make this film a must see for any movie fan.

Yeah, this may just be "Dances with Wolves" and "A Man Called Horse" with Samurai instead of American Indians, but it retreads those stories so well that I don't care.
