What if ...? Played well. This guy is totally relatable. With some beautiful scenery and costumes. How realistic the depictions of the Vatican and the conclave are - I don't know but that's certainly not the point.

PS: the German title makes it sound as if that's a comedy. It isn't for the most part.

It may seem silly in some parts, but it is the kind of silliness that is somehow expected when making some light satire of the Roman Catholic Church. It is overall a pleasant result, not always in target, but it may spark some reflection about realistic problems in the Church of today. Nothing too deep, but nice to watch.
