Against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel's First Family is forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, while defending Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer.
I genuinely think this is one of the best marvel movies they’ve made and the best adaptation of the Fantastic four, it’s a surprisingly grounded story despite the stakes that centres on the family. It has a really nice use of ‘show don’t tell’ with the first five minutes, it gives you a view of who the characters are, their backstory’s, relationships, personalities and how they got their powers in a quick and easily digestible way that feels organic to the story!
The use of music in this movie is also incredible I really love how it’s done, this along with the visuals and very thought out world building of Earth-828 gives this movie an aesthetic I don’t think other marvel movies will be able to top
My only criticism honestly is that it could have been a good 20-30 minutes longer which in all honestly is more a compliment to the writing , there were scenes in the trailer not in the final movie that I was bummed to find out were not because we were missing action or important story plot points but just because I wanted to see more of the characters and how they interact, the actors did brilliantly, in fact everyone who worked on this movie did brilliantly
I can’t wait to see more of them in doomsday and Secret wars and honestly hopefully after those two because I honestly love these guys they could make ten more stories of just them hanging out and I would be thrilled!
10/10 hope they release an extended cut because I need more of this!!

This film doesn't have much of the action or comedy you'd expect from a Marvel film.
Instead, it delivers a great story, fantastic characters, and a unique visual style within the MCU. It's the kind of film that, when it ends, makes you want to watch it again and again.
One of the best films in the entire MCU, they truly returned to the glory days.
**A tribute at the end to the King Kirby elevates this film even further in my eyes, well done Marvel.**

I gave this a 10, not necessarily because it is a perfect movie but it might actually be the perfect comic book movie. Even if there are some discrepancies between this movie and canon comic F4, I have never seen a movie that has quite so perfectly adapted the feeling of reading a set of comics.

i absolutely love it! it was really fun and entertaining and amazing. completely worth watching!
I had my doubts on Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards but he turned out to be a perfect casting! the casting in this movie was just perfect, the thing was the best version of the thing we have seen yet and Johnny literally carried the whole film & all the fans that criticised Joseph Quinn casting as Johnny Storm owns an apology to Joseph Quinn and Sue was mothering on levels that nobody has ever mothered before.

'I Herald His Beginning. I Herald Your End. I Herald Galactus.'
I think this was Marvels last chance to get the Fantastic 4 movie right and when I watched the trailer I thought this was already going to be the best one and it absolutely was and literally even way better than I imagined ,although I do think the old ones are very underrated but they did have a couple flaws ,except the 2015 one that is completely trash, but this one was honestly perfect.
What I loved about it the most was the style futuristic mixed with a old fashioned feel I found it so awesome the designs and details they went with from the the suits the baby carrier lol the Fantastic 4 building looked great and the car they really nailed everything not surprising with it being from the wandavision creator.
The theme throughout and the whole vibe of the film worked so well the family bond was amazing all of them had chemistry the speech that Sue gave was a emotional scene the people was doing my heading before that saying to give the baby up so I’m glad that changed there minds.
All member of the Fantastic 4 was just that “FANTASTIC” in their roles
Mr Fantastic can be the boring sometimes because he acts very serious but of course Pedro Pascal made him look always liked his powers the part where GALACTUS was stretching him was mental.
Johnny “Human Torch” was really really good I liked his story was basically trying to convince Shalla Bal”Silver Surfer to go against GALACTUS was kinda funny that he had a crush on her though I’m so happy Jospeh Quinn was cast to play him he’s smashing it since Stranger things.
Sue storm power wise was easily the OP out of the group the way she pushed GALACTUS back with her powers on her own was crazy considering how big and powerful he is didn’t expect that at all don’t know the actor but she did a great job has Sue Storm.
Then still my personal favourite out of the group which is of course The Thing he’s just such a fun character his comedy his hilarious him having a Beard was stupid but he “Rocked it” not going to lie glad he got his hat and coat back aswell that’s his iconic look.
I don’t like Gender swaps in roles normally but Shalla Bal was a huge part of this film and it did work for the story them showing her backstory also gave her more character depth which is great I still prefer the man Silver Surfer but she was still a great character.
Then we get to the villain the Devourer of worlds GALACTUS!!!!!!!!! Wow I’ve been excited to finally see what he looks like on the big screen and he exceeded expectations his look so fucking cool he’s ginormous and so powerful well he does literally eat worlds lol 😂 I was worried they would over CGi him but they done a amazing job with him ,thank god he didn’t die that would of been ridiculous and a waste but the way got rid of him makes sense so he can return in future films, definitely getting the pop of him now he’s such a class one to get.
The story mostly being about keeping Franklin away from GALACTUS was very intense it will be interesting to see what happens to him in the future definitely after the end credits scene with Doctor freaking DOOOOOOOM!!!!.
Wow I’ve written a lot more than i expected but this film surprised me how good it actually was one of my favourites of the year without a doubt and finally Marvel film wise anyway seem to be on a roll again now 10/10.

I guess this is a 73 because people rated a movie without seeing it as usual. This movie is a blast and easily the best Fantastic Four movie.
It is smart how we are brought up to date on the history of the Fantastic Four in the first five minutes. It is like the beginning of Up but full of a bunch of Fantastic Four history comic fans should love.
I admit that I too thought Pedro Pascal was miscast. Until I saw the movie. You think of him as Reed Richards pretty much as soon as the movie starts.
Everyone is good in their role. It’s also surprising how well a Fantastic Four movie was made. When I admit I like the 2005 movie and its sequel. I also sort of like the 1994 movie and even the 2015 one is growing on me.
This Fantastic Four movie has the most emotion, and tension. It is the least goofy and has the best performances. We got a Fantastic Four movie that is engaging start to finish.

Fantastic Movie! Great introduction of the characters. Also the trick with post credit scene from Thunderbolts made me crazy. Whole movie I was waiting for that moment to happen or my answer for every problem they had was that they will probably do it as a solution.

The people scoring this a 6 be so ffr right now. This felt like a true representation of what the fantastic four are and represent. Yes the movie is not perfect to a tee but damn it’s pretty close. This movie far surpasses almost all of Marvels recent releases in like a bazillion ways. Most definitely somewhere between an 8-9.
