this movie was as good as the first one, i'm so glad i stumbled upon this saga, Don Lee is as amazing as ever, and the villain in this one is even crazier than the first movie;

i love how they emphasized even **_further_** on Detective Seok-do's strength, he's simply an absolute unit
also his teamwork & silliness with the Captain was hilarious

the movie has it all, even the reappearing of Jang Isoo was perfectly done, he was so funny
fighting choreos were so good, and the (police-team) cast really grows on you

Brutal, Adrenaline Pumping, Hillarious

The Roundup is a riotously entertaining action comedy which takes its genre quite seriously. Following up as a sequel to blockbuster The Outlaws, The Roundup serves as yet another high octane actioner with superior stunt choreography and subtle humor which easily sparks a giggle. An enticing screenplay and a terrifying villain keeps you predicting and engaged.

Don Lee is the king of mass action flicks in Korea and he proves it again and again. His mere presence makes the film likeable. The most satisfying part of any Don Lee movie is when he punches his heavy hands on the baddies and this one has plenty of it.  Son Suk Ku as the antagonist is menacing and his performance is truly brutal.

Overall, if you liked the outlaws there is no reason to skip this. An outright entertaining action comedy which delivers in both departments. Hands Down Don Lee Supremacy all the way.

The sequel to "The outlaws" (2017) lives up to the original, though the antagonist is a less exhilarating threat against Ma Dong-Seok. A story of kidnappers in Vietnam that uses cultural disagreements as the main humorous resource, with a certain air of superiority from the Koreans, and taking little advantage of the Vietnamese scenario. Choosing machetes and knives as the main weapon in the excellent fight choreography brings forcefulness and brutality.

It's still weird to see how police officers don't have any weapon against criminals in South Korea.
Nonetheless, the second movie is great and matches the first one for sure. Action scenes with the big guy are awesome!

A very funny and action-packed Korean movie, the main character is so overpowered though. I feel like we made a mistake watching this one before the first one, but it all still made sense.
