Hidomi Hibajiri is a young girl who never takes off her headphones. Her whole life consists of going to school, helping out at her mother's cafe, and listening to music. I.. I just can't believe how bad this is. The story is mostly nonsense and slight rehash of the original story. There is not a single likable character, even Haruko is bad in this and her new voice actress sounds dreadful. The human characters don't look and feel realistic like they did in the original and animation's quality is constantly changing. They brought back The Pillows for OST, but most of the OST is composed of songs from the original. I think there are two or three new songs from The Pillows in this, but you can just go and search for them on YouTube if you want to hear them.
I could write about this in more detail, but I don't want to think about this abomination anymore. If you love original FLCL don't waste your time on this and just pretend it doesn't exist.
