Absolutely oozing with atmosphere, like the heavy humid weather of Louisiana 1955, where everyone seems to die of some horrific death in connection with this mysterious case.

Although incredibly predictable, this story will keep you in its grasps until the very end.

An example of how to make a movie with an amazing looming atmosphere. Storywise I think it's a bit predictable, although still nice. Certainly worth a watch if you're a horror fan.

First 80% were good, final 20% ruined it.

The protagonists breakdown in the end was terribly scripted / acted, too, and rather funny than dramatic.

Yes, it is a mystery movie. To get started, it is an entertaining movie although I was hoping for a kind of mindfuck that would make it more transcendental. The story is not very solid and there are certain gaps in the plot.

Not my cup of tea. Felt dated, languid.

Good actors and good locations but just didn't settle with me at any point.
