Margrete: Queen of the North

1402. Queen Margrete I has gathered the Nordic kingdoms in a union, ruled through her adopted son, Erik. But a conspiracy is in the making and Margrete finds herself in an impossible dilemma that could shatter her life's work: The Kalmar Union.
I really wanted to like this one. It is gorgeous, pompous, and has a potential for something great. But it ended up being a majestic (pun intended) snoozefest, and gave very little insight into what you can read during four pages of any history book up here. Trine Dyrholm was never a good actress, but even a quite good support cast could not save it. Try again, Charlotte, i know you got it in you, it is not worse than i will still look forward to your next output.
