Well, that escalated quickly. I remember the exact point the main plot was revealed and it was like feeling the shift from a partly sunny day to a nightmare of a storm. It did seem to ramble for the first half, but I like how they developed the characters and moved the story along. Glad it popped up in my recommendation list.
A tale of two tones.
First half is a pretty funny buddy flick. Good dialogue, very natural performances. Found myself smiling throughout. Second half gets darker of course as is the point. I preferred the first half but overall the movie was very good for what it was. Solid 7.3.
Quite unexpected and worth the watch.
Like ED: just when I thought it was gonna go hard it got soft and finished with an anticlimax.
This story of three friends that discover themselves confronting a all kinds of trauma was frustrating and left me feeling letdown. Too bad, because they way it was speeding into the 3rd act really had me going.
