Transformer One is nothing short of amazing, enchanting even. I'm not kidding when I say that this movie was so good that I was memserized, and I barely qualify as a Transformers fan! This movie succeeds where many, **MANY** other movie have failed this past year. The storytelling done in this movie checks near every box on what makes a story good: intriguing (and somewhat amusing) exposition, clear character motivation, absolutely _steller_ character growth, great acting, and compelling world-building, to name a few. I'm extremely tempted to call this the "Spider-verse" of Transformers, but I think I'm getting ahead of myself. What I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, is that this movie does **NOT** deserve the 5 that IGN gave it. Shame on them but also not surprising.
I really did enjoy this one, loads of action, excellent animation and a great story-line, Bad-ass atron is wicked 😂
Peak formers. Just watch it it's amazing
This was surprisingly good. I mean, most of the twists in the film were *pretty* obvious from the very beginning, but it was so entertaining and not completely and utterly stupid like the Michael Bay movies that it didn't bother me. I also don't mind not following any humans at all in this film. I don't feel like there's any reason why human characters *have* to drag down a Transformers movie. It's just that, for some reason, they almost exclusively have in every one of them except Bumblebee.
I haven't even played the games, but I just get a feeling that War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron would make for some excellent equal material.
Surprisingly good movie, far better than the trailers made it out to be. Unfortunately the German dub got butchered by the strange decision to cast influencers again, but the English one is fire. Will definitely watch again many, many times.
Ok, that guy on twitter was right. This was a really good movie. Maybe some voices did not fit the characters that much, but thats just nitpicking a great movie.
Very good philosophy. I enjoyed the allegory of the cave by Plato reference. Def recommend
Finally, finally, finally! We finally get a Transformers movie worthy of the name.
What an incredible movie! I loved the revisionist origin story told in this movie. The animation and voice-acting was all superb, and even knowing how it had to end, it still broke my heart to watch it happen.
I hope we get a ton of sequels!
the best friends turned sworn enemies trope will always leave me in shambles. D’s slow but steady decent into evil was tragic. The animation in this movie was beautiful! I regret taking so long to see it. Definitely a 10/10
Also my sweet child Bee you will forever be famous in my household
This truly is peak cinema, damn.
