Oh my sweet Jesus, this was a nice surprise. I'm kind of a hard egg to crack with horror comedies, but I have to tell you, this was brilliant. It's a mix between The Babysitter and Fright Night, sprinkled with a number of characters that are clearly modeled after
horror icons such as Jason Vorhees, the Chameleon from American Psycho, Hannibal Lecter
and more. Past that, the gore was a nice addition, as it was mostly practical. Shudder, you have a winner.

Like The Rise of Leslie Vernon, this deconstructs slasher tropes and puts them in a fun and ridiculous high concept idea. Evan Marsh is an engaging lead as the final boy that has to survive a night of various serial killers trying to get him. I have a feeling this may be headed for cult film status.

Great horror comedy. Started out better than it finished but it's a fun movie to watch and keeps a good pace.

That was viciously fun indeed! Extremely entertaining and clever horror comedy about a horror journalist who ends up drunk and accidentally stumbles into a support group meeting for serial killers. This is one of those film that you can tell right away by its cover. It nails both on horror and comedy aspect and delivers exactly everything you'd expect from the title. There are Lots of blood, great kills with various murder instruments, great jokes, charming characters, energetic synth soundtrack, and big 80s feel throughout. The lead has great personality and his jokes are always at the perfect timing. I love most of the style choices used in this film. Some conversations feel a bit too long but it's an entertaining ride the whole way through. Can't wait to watch it again!

Vicious fun is right. The film is a little rough around the edges but it has a great sense of humour to balance its dark story. Has the potential to be a future cult classic so well worth a watch.

Vicious and fun, like it says on the box, though the fun wasn't as fun as the vicious was vicious.

Entertaining and fun, but left some unresolved questions. I hope there's a sequel explaining about Carrie's past and the Midnight Man.
