The Doorman

It's a solid Die Hard clone. Being @#$# on here by people who have trouble with it being a Die Hard clone starring a woman. It's not great, but if you want an action movie, this'll do. Nothing great, nothing awful. Solid action movie.

Die hard in an apartment building? She's entertained, Jean Reno seems to go for the check

This is a fairly decent movie - it's not great but certainly watcheable and entertaining. It's always kind of fun to watch little pixies beat up and succefully fight off multiple huge men in a single fight.
[spoiler] This is basically Die Hard with a woman in a hotel.[/spoiler]

They could have at least went progressive and called it, The Doorwomen.

[spoiler] worst cringe part. when the lockpicker said "the best can do this in 5 hrs .. I can do it in 2" .. "no, do it in 1" the henchman replies. (they just increased the time 5x that of the best.) [/spoiler]

A cat goes missing on the 10th floor of an enormous complex.
After OPENING A F***ING CLOSED DOOR to a sealed room to search for it the next move is to go straight down to the basement.
If you have no appreciation for door opening teleporting cats I have bad news for you regarding the rest of the script as it is so bad no one even bothers to act.
There are action scenes and then there are plot holes.
Ali's niece pulls of real number by even giving an appalling performance in non speaking scenes, they must have dug up and resurrected Ed Wood just to direct her.
It is feat unseen since Alanis Morissette completely bombed her non speaking role in Dogma in -99.

The tagline for this is _Be careful who you trust_.
The only people you really should be doubtful of is anyone who recommends you watch this.

Everything about this movie was predictable. I liked some of the action sequences.

'Straight to video' trash.

Shows how little acting ability Ruby Rose has and how low Jean Reno will stoop for a paycheck.

I'm getting tired of these streaming platforms flooding the market with crap. Now I know why Netflix doesn't allow reviews...

Don't get me wrong, I do love an action flick where the female character gets to kick some serious ass... but unfortunately a film can't live on female asskicking alone. The acting is semi-decent at best and pretty darn terrible at worst - and I had the film pretty much sorted out after the first fifteen minutes.

Please please can Ruby Rose go back to whatever she did before attempting to act! I have to wonder if her part in John Wick was originally a speaking part but after the experience of seeing her act they changed the role to a person who signs! This and all her main role movies awful
