Creepiest mind blowing movie till now far better than oldboy in it's own sense.

It's one of the most effective films I've seen in years as well as one of the scariest. It's also disheartening, frustrating, and cruel. One thing I can definitely say though is that it's not gratuitous. It's beautifully made, it's heartbreakingly tragic, it's terribly realistic, and it's one of the most effective and well made films as well as one of the most disturbing.

It seems to me most of the people who rate this movie 4 & lower didn't know what they were about to watch.
Is the movie sick? Yeah. Is it disgusting? A lot of scenes... yes. Is it bad? No, I don't think so. At least for what it is about & what story it is meant to show I think it isn't that bad. I might agree there are some very sick scenes that weren't necessary but they just are there, deal with it.
This is a difficult movie that presents a very sensitive topic in disturbingly dark way. But you should know that, when you decide to watch it. I don't understand people watching movies without any previous check on what the movie is about. It's like giving a terrible rating to a movie about dogs when you started watching it assuming on no intel that it's about cats.

This movie probably should not be seen by anyone - ever!!! And yet I rated it as *Good*. It is a very disturbing, violent, horrific, disgusting and uncomfortable movie to watch. This is the first movie even I squeamishly averted my eyes a couple of times. And still it was a fascinating movie. Do NOT watch this movie - but if you do decide to watch it - you've been warned!!

Definitely not one for the average viewer. There’s a brief academic critique of the movie over on IMDB which is worth reading to help put this movie in perspective. It’s challenging. It’s art.

Don’t watch this if you have any sensitivities. Do watch it if you are interested in moral relativism and the role of censorship in our times, desensitization by exposure to media, commercial exploitation, and similar themes.
