Smiled and laughed throughout the whole thing! It's nice to see a movie that feels genuine again ☺
It was a very entertaining and gripping movie. Actually, I was a little prejudiced when I started, but I watched it without getting bored. As you know, they shot a movie within a movie. They mixed it with a different subject, entertainment, and embellished it with a little comedy. The plot, effects, action and fight scenes, etc. are great. Thank you for your efforts. "An epic love story" hahaha
Unlike _Bullet Train_, which I felt would be a marmite film (and judging by the comments over there, it is), this has a little bit more for everyone.
I hovered between 9 and 10 but ultimately, I am going to rate this for what it is and whether or not it achieved what it set out to be. On that basis, I think it's a roaring success. And then it does have some more subtle pastiche and homage running throughout it as well.
This movie was so much better than I expected it to be!! Probably one of my favorite of the year!! I also loved how they showed the real stunt men during the credits!! Will definitely watch this again!!
this was so funny. I thought it would be a clingy love story but I couldn't help but laugh. I even asked my dad "did they need a stunt man FOR the stunt man"
Amazing movie, giving those behind the scenes professionals the credit they deserve. These guys make a movie happen. It was comedy, drama, action and romance all rolled into one fantastic movie.
I was pleasantly suprised at how good this movie actually was. I expected to be average at best, but definitely better than I expected, especially since I use to watch the TV series
Like this Tom accidentally blows himself.😅
I admit bias as I loved the original series. But this was and I don't splash non ironic non sarcastic non mocking (cos I'm English till I die!) but this was friggin expialidocious Supercalifragilistic expialidocious, like "New York, New York (So Good They Named It Twice)".
Grump's can do one.
Even Ryan did a good job, Jody resisted doing a goodbye scene a la YouTube somehow thank you god! Gail was crazy, scary and brutally savage. Ben Knight despite being a mammoth ginger Aussie whiner played a great evil baddie convincingly and I was happy when Winston finally won after the writers conventional super unbeatable boss baddy scene, and I was glad he did, good man!
I can't decide if Aaron is a superb actor playing a spoilt Hollywood brat egotistical narcist well or a bad actor being himself.
It didn't detract from the film too much.
The cherry on the top was definitely Lee Majors as a cop. Nice classic touch.
Mamoa was very Mamoaesque, the only thing it lacked was him ad libbing a Haka on top of the car during his epic speech as the finale, which I know he asked for but was denied. Another good lad! Keep it up!
This is the way! Approved!
Absolutely loved this movie! It was nice to see comedy that didn’t lean so much on innuendos. Definitely laughed several times throughout the movie, and would see it again :)
