Salem's Lot

Great movie. I was hearing bad reviews, but it was actually a really good film.

Great flick, Mark is an incredibly lovable character.

Having read the book and seen the 1979 version and loved both, I waded into this one a little worried. While it pales to both, this story proves so strong it really still delivered chills and fun. Worth the viewing and comes through with the goods, if rushed to the point of breathless pacing. Hard to deliver suspense on a speed read, but this somehow delivered a few scenes anyway.

Vampires .....vampires.....good effects....go get them!

Ok! Jordan Carter was amazing ! He was actually the best actor in the movie. Slow beginning but it was fun to watch !

A solid work, looks expensive, good acting, better than the original, this Is a good movie, but ppl keep praising stupid movies like midsomar, long legs, nope,where you need a manual to understand them, no scary, but this Is a vampire, survival movie, a solid work, some scenes aré crafted Beautifullly. A shame this Is not release to the cinema..

This is a completely servicable and equally pointless telling of Salem's Lot. No reason not to watch it if you want that. No reason to watch it if you don't. Check out King and Scott Snyder's American Vampire graphic novels if you want good vampire stories. King leaves after the first one I believe. Snyder does fine without him. If you want a traditional vampire story, a vampire story that probably changed the tradition, watch Sslen's Lot here. There's nothing wrong with it.
