The Garfield Movie

CATFLIX is now my favorite platform. Definitely watch it. It's fun, nice and can be watched with the family.

The Garfield Movie was actually pretty good, although the characterisation and underlying themes are of a similar style to most of the box office animated movies released this century (likeable but cocky 'everyday' character with parental abandonment issues is forced to become a hero when paths cross with aforementioned parent, vainglorious antagonist with brutish but amusing henchmen, circumstances along the way bringing about emotional moments that then lead to understanding/reconciliation of the lead protagonists, bad guys going good, etc).

That said, it's an enjoyable family-friendly film that does the franchise credit, despite it only loosely resembling the 'traditional' fat, lazy, lethargic Garfield as depicted in the original comic strips.

A positive surprise. This movie is for once better than what I expected. Good entertainment.

It’s a little too fast paced. Garfield meets John. Suddenly Odie is there. Then Garfield and Odie are taken by outcasts of dogs and cats. For an outdoor adventure.
Chris Pratt brings everything he got to the voice of Garfield. The plot isn’t really the best for the reintroduction of Garfield to the big screen, though.
There’s not enough of Garfield at home driving John crazy. Has more of a plot of a Secret Life of Pets movie.
Though it does eventually get more Garfield like as it goes on and there is charm.

It's so stupid to the point that it's hilarious

Surprisingly this had been one of the few good Garfield films I've seen so far, not too keen about Chris Pratt being the VA for Garfield but I'm sure he'll grow on me.

A good movie with a light story that manages to entertain. The comedic characters are the highlight of the film, eliciting many laughs in various scenes. The animation is good but not surprising, following the generic 3D standard common today. Despite a few minor issues here and there, the movie is great for passing the time and ensuring some good laughs.

it was a fun filled ride full of adventure and
funny moments along with cute ones. Lovely graphics.
