I laughed hysterically throughout the entire movie. It’s the perfect comedy. No notes.

This movie has terrible ratings - but I’m just gonna say it. I liked it.

I thought it was creative. It took the concept of War of the Worlds and added a new age tech feel. It was shown from computer scenes (like John Cho’s Searching! … but not as good).

It wasn’t realistic. And you really shouldn’t go in thinking it would be like the original (or even previous remakes). Don’t even go into it with any preconceived notions. And if you’re willing to, suspend your beliefs. If you do, I promise you are way more likely to enjoy this.

This movie can be downright entertaining if you allow it.

I need to revise my last comment...

There are MANY mentions of Amazon throughout the movie. I'm at 1:11 and the mention of "Prime Air" was not the least but relevant or subtly inserted.

I'm not generally a sci-fi person, but I am finding this interesting and am engaged.

It isn’t as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Is it the best movie? No? But it was okay. Coming from an ethical hacker/cybersecurity specialist, I enjoyed it a bit more than others might have. Although, it does have some parts that leave me going, really??

Amazon could really dial back on the promos here though…we get it…it’s your production but geez.

Not as bad as some comments here would make you believe. It is a weirdly modified version of War of the Worlds. I agree with the negative comments related to that aspect. However, the Cyber and Tech part of the movie was really good and that kept me interested. Your mileage may vary.

It's OK to pass the time. Brain in neutral and enjoy. Interesting take on the value of DATA!

A character works in a medical lab, yet decides to pull a huge object out of her leg thinking it would stop the bleeding. The server gets erased, yet somehow the 404 page still loads. And then, somehow, they turned the movie into *Independence Day* with all the virus stuff.

And seriously, who in their right mind thought Ice Cube was the right choice for this role? The story approach was actually pretty interesting, but the main character’s acting was just… bad.

Well I enjoyed it. Okay, it's not the best movie ever made but I thought it was original and definitely worth a watch (probably only once though).

Yeesh, ok, where to start... You follow the angle of cameras all over the city, except when they are destroyed, and then suddenly we are free floating, and it makes no sense, pick a style... They had a good cast, but this film feels like it was made during lockdown, as everyone is separate and alone in their respective locations.

Watching Ice Cube as a hacker cracked me up. not that I don't believe He could do it, but they had him check the page source to track a hacker... fuck off, lol, how fucking moronic. Hey, I just looked the source code for a website, now I know your address. oh wait, not how that works - fucking didn't even open developer tools, hahaha. The best part of this version was the complete and utter lack of Tom Cruise.

I did like the end twist, it was the redemption for me to bump the score up, though the "hackers" talking was the funniest fucking bullshit I ever did hear.
