This movie takes no hostages... The driving was absolutely top notch, the special effects were beyond good and although the action was relentless, it never once felt fatigued or over done. This movie delivers on all its promises. If you want a pure action flick that wastes no time, Mad Max Fury Road is it!

After enjoying this movie in IMAX 3D, I must say I'm utterly pleased. It keeps within the original Mad Max story, so isn't a reboot as such. Miller makes his presence be felt at the helm every single frame and his bag of tricks is full, and generous. The movie benefits A LOT from the 3D conversion for its very jumpy-action nature (however there's one shot when a driver's wheel jumps from the screen, that feels so 80's, that made me chuckle, you'll know when you see it), and the score was surprisingly good (I'm gonna buy it at iTunes right away). Hardy's performance is in tune with Gibson's: few words, pedal to the metal and dry humour here and there. You have to experience this film on the big screen, and I'm gonna bet that you'll love it just as myself.

>*"I exist in this Wasteland. A man reduced to a single instinct: survive."*

I witnessed the hell out of this! ***Fury Road*** is non-stop Nitro fueled action from start to finish, easily in my top five action movies of all-time.

The action sequences are phenomenal, from the choreography, to the timing of everything, and the way it's all captured beautifully with wide shots and excellent cinematography. You'd think that with so much action it would get redundant after a while but this movie has perfect pacing. It carefully takes pit stop breaks every once in a while when it's needed, just like a road trip, so you don't get an action overload, and it does so without ruining the momentum.

The characters are very interesting despite the limited character progression. A lot of it is due to the acting and the nonverbal communication. The best character interaction we get is between Max and Furiosa, it's fascinating watching the slow complicity building up between them, it's one hell of an evolution. Everyone on the War Rig becomes a member of the team in order to survive and that's the emotional core of the movie right there. Nicholas Hoult's Nux is arguably the most interesting character study in all this, what an arc! The villains are everything you want in a movie like this, Immortan Joe and his War Boys are equally detestable, funny and even downright scary at times.

The world-building is fascinating, it gets me so immersed. The score is awesome and great addition with the guy playing the electric guitar. I applaude the use of practical effects over CGI for most of this movie. The cars all look so unique. The costumes and makeup make the characters so badass. The hand-to-hand fight between Max and Furiosa might just be my favorite moment but the third act is one of the most intense i've ever seen in an action movie. A masterpiece!

"If I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die historic on the Fury Road!"

Mad Max: Fury Road never, ever gets old. Such a thrill from start to finish. So many great character designs, amazing action, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Immortan Joe, the Citadel, the vehicle action, the Guitar guy, great soundtrack, Tom Hardy rocks as Max, Charlize Theron as Furiosa is great and I still love Nicholas Hoult as Nux.

George Miller really did a great job with Fury Road. One of the best movies of the past 15 years.

Epic, epic, epic. The storm scene is peak cinema and the music is great. I can't add much else but this is one of my favourite movies and I love everything about it.

It’s Mad Max Fury Road, dog. In some way it’s unfair to have this be the first movie I saw of the series. It’s one of the best action movies of all time, a contender for the best, a nonstop thrill ride that somehow never tilts over into exhausting or thoughtless. Passion and craft is in every frame. People actually did these stunts! And the colors, the visual flair, how they convey tone and the emotions of the characters… The music that vibrates your bones… It’s the climax of everything the previous movies built to. It’s the product of decades of experience and a true love for a story Miller’s held dear for even longer.

And that’s not even going to the performances like Hardy’s rabid dog learning to love people again, Hoult’s puppy dog finding a true home and meaning, and of course, Furiosa, a character at this point just as iconic as Max. The efficiency of the storytelling is so clean, every Wife gets a moment to shine and pay off their arc, everything you need to know about Max and Furiosa is etched into their expressions. And at its core such a hopeful, human movie, believing in a better world amidst the ruins of the old. Just top to bottom a flawless movie. Furiosa has a lot to live up to, but knowing Miller, I have no doubt it’ll be a hell of a time.
