Extremely enjoyable, no ideologies being pushed, and an excellent choice for Father's Day
Amazing!
Definitely recommend. 10/10

Don’t say I didn’t warn you
I loved Kenji’s dynamic with his father and how they build upon their shared loss. I was essentially kicked in the gut upon them reconnecting over Emi and then at Mr Sato’s almost death. Moved to tears, absolutely sobbing.
The best part of this movie was definitely how Kenji and Emi bond, with him coming into his responsibilities as Ultraman and his new found baby. Watching him struggle at first to accept Emi as well as juggling his job as a baseballer and Ultraman was definitely felt deeply and I feel it reflects how working women feel when juggling their home lives and working at a job.
I sobbed so hard when Ultraman hurt Emi when trying to stop her from falling and the immediate switch to protective dad mode to save her from danger.
With the way the movie ended, I hope that they make a second movie and explore Kenji’s Mum. Just my theory but she has to be on kaiju island somewhere!
♢ _**ten outta ten! wish i could rate it even more.**_ ♢
the animation was phenomenal, story was sad and so, so good. definitely going to be in my top 20, if not top 10
Decent storyline, enjoyable animation style. The voice actors suited their characters.. i’m ready for a sequel or series. Wasn’t ready for the ending even after almost 2 hours. Really enjoyed this movie. Emi is so cute.
Slow start but the heart of this film carries it. I feel like a lot of questions are left unanswered due to probably being answered in the show and that’s annoying to me. You shouldn’t have to watch the show to understand basic concepts about the world lore.
Okay, I was wrong, sometimes a movie can be too long.
Rated a Connor 5, normal 6
Questionable visual style but okay
Extremely enjoyable, no ideologies being pushed, and an excellent choice for Father's Day
