This must be what schizophrenia feels like.
Chris Pine's version of a mind-fuck movie. Not my cup of tea. But I mean sheeyit respect homie.
Was this only for a select 10 or so insane fans? Surely a target audience was in mind because I have no idea who would want to purposefully suffer through this. The posters bring excitement. The title brings comedy and mystery. The cast brings fandoms. Unfortunately, all of these flopped harder than a pool noodle underwater. I gave up after the 30 mark as the empty story was bleached dry. Also because the cast wasn't funny, relatable or anything else in between. It felt like a 'yes men' project. I don't dislike or like Pine but acting looks better than directing for now.
It's as bad as you've heard. Good actors cast adrift in a bottomless swimming pool of nothing.
So strange, I managed an hour at most..
