Robot & Frank

Curmudgeonly old Frank lives by himself. His routine involves daily visits to his local library, where he has a twinkle in his eye for the librarian. His grown children are concerned about their father’s well-being and buy him a caretaker robot. Initially resistant to the idea, Frank soon appreciates the benefits of robotic support – like nutritious meals and a clean house – and eventually begins to treat his robot like a true companion. With his robot’s assistance, Frank’s passion for his old, unlawful profession is reignited, for better or worse.

That movie was very interesting until the end. All the things Frank realises due to his old age... Man I cried at the end. The end is sad.
But I loved it, I rated it 10/10 lol
So I recommend it, really.

This exceeded expectations. I was rooting for the old dude and the robot since about half way through this movie. That wasn't the case initially at the start. That is great writing and character building.

Robot & Frank

This heartfelt story of a man battling with dementia, really got me invested and pulled my heart strings.
Some good comedy to be found.
The main cast were mostly fantastic, however Liv Tyler and the supporting cast was less than stellar.

8/10

I didn't understood the ending... Did the robot get Alzheimer or what?

Why was he talking about the previous robbery as the future plan (just before the reformat)?

>"Frank. It's time for your enema."

I don't know why, but with these types of movies I always end up feeling so much for the robots. This has some heartwarming moments along with some twists.
