Rogue Agent

This was a bit slow at times. But overall a really good movie.

Am not sure how close this is to the true story but it's still an engaging drama. Disturbing how one man can wield such a hold over others.

This takes a little while to get going and it does get better as it goes on. It's a good film, just not an amazing one. Interesting that's it's based on a true story however.

Hard imagine this was a true story, but then again justice is rarely served for career criminals. Not a bad movie overall just don't expect action or even a fast-paced movie.

Slow start and what a psychological lier unbelievable and the ending somehow didn't surprise me. Glad the ending was a bit faster.

As other commenters have said: This is a slow starter. Not a slow burn, really a slow start. It sets the scene, and the mood, but takes it sweet time doing it. The movie, when it's found it's pace, is fine-just-fine. Don't expect over the top drama or action (there is none). It's a true-to-life dramatisation so events unfold calmly one after another until the inevitable but slightly unsatisfying conclusion. Acting is perfectly serviceable, the filming itself starts out somewhat awkward (possibly by design) and picks up style and color along the way. all in all a fine movie.

started very slowly but if you make it through the start, it's quite good!

Reminded me of The Tinder Swindler. Except somehow this guy is even worse.
