Wow, this film rules! It was bloody, clever, charming, hilarious, heartwarming, suspenseful, so yeah, basically a perfect horror comedy. I really didn’t expect this horror mockumentary to be as funny as it was, considering this was heavily inspired by What We Do in the Shadows which I still I can’t wrap my head around why a lot of people love that film so much, but this one left me pleasantly surprised. Impressive how it feels like they stretch this concept out to a feature length yet it's still so entertaining because the comedy works as intended and ultimately elevates the film. There are plenty of genuinely thrilling moments as well and something about the characters and the indie charm that it has made it so unbelievably endearing. I don’t really know what else to say besides it’s really fucking good.

A cheesy rip off of Man Bites Dog, but I give it 1 more star thanks to the humour, what little there was.
