Although now dated, this is still a great film

This was one of the first films I watched in the cinema. Loved it then and I still enjoy it now.

It's a really solid thriller where you can guess the nding but the journey is just as enjoyable.

Clint is excellent at being a film star. The supporting cast are solid. The story is good. The script is just a little functional though.

An 80s film made in the 90s and I cannot complain at that.

Well worth a watch if you've never seen it.

A well acted thriller and tense thriller. With Clint Eastwood and John Malkovich at their best. Especially since Mallovich was type cast as a villain many times after this. Just never nearly as good as he was in this.

A good movie about an agent who was responsible when President Kennedy was assassinated. One of Clint Eastwoods better performances as an actor.

I wish it was paced better, but 'In the Line of Fire' still makes for a good time.

Clint Eastwood and John Malkovich is a great line-up and both are entertaining in this, the latter is just terrific at playing a loopy bad guy. There's a fair few well known peeps behind them, including John Heard and Gary Cole - it's a fairly strong cast.

The story is an interesting one, though given that you'd expect the film to move along at a better pace but it kinda just walks through its 128 minute run time. It's not a drag or anything, but I definitely wasn't on the edge of my seat unfortunately. It's still a film I'd recommend, though.

A bodyguard, he has a new opportunity to save the president.

john malkovic outstanding performance.. nice story. i wish he let him murdered the president. such valueless person. died lots of people for him.

Interesting thriller, Clint Eastwood and John Malkovich do an excellent job of suspense and chase. I felt it dragged on a bit and the whole love interest thing between an old man and a much younger agent felt a bit cringe. Still, with Eastwood providing a stellar performance throughout it made well worth sticking out until the two hour end.

As most of the movies with Clint Eastwood is a little bit too long, could be less boring too.
It's funny though how in one moment they say that the country they love is not the same anymore. And they said it in 1993. I'd like to see what would they say now when the States turned into a goddamn circus.
