A Haunting in Venice

Celebrated sleuth Hercule Poirot, now retired and living in self-imposed exile in Venice, reluctantly attends a Halloween séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.
I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would.
Being a huge fan of Agatha Christie, I agree the work of David Suchet is a real masterpiece - and therefore, hard to achieve again. But Kennet Branagh is probably the second-best Poirot I've seen.
As for the story, this should be marked as horror as well, even if only as the fourth-listed genre. You'll see why.
