Enjoyable film to watch, and the styling of the filming is great

Color me cheesy. This is everything I wanted. Especially after that Rick and Morty episode and good lord so I hate when Rick and Morty "tackle popular culture" because they ruin it in the most hypocritical way possible.

But yeah it's a heist film and it's 100% what I wanted from a heist film. It's not the best I've ever seen but it maximized everything I like about the genre. If you're looking for original or fresh or new. You knew from the trailer this wasn't going to deliver. You knew from the trailer every beat this movie would take every double cross. Every surprise skill. Every fake out. You can see them coming a mile away.

For me. That's exactly why I loved this movie. As one of my favorite show creators calls it.. .Competency Porn. I'm not a fan of the "pornification" of linguistics but conceptually it does work.

I really enjoyed this movie. Easy to watch, good pace and some nice twists. Also a good cast ensemble. Worth a watch :thumbsup_tone1:.

Fun movie. Predictable? Yes! Probably the first Netflix original that’s close to a good movie. Turn your brain off and watch.

Surprisingly good. It is very ridiculous, but also very fun. Definitely a popcorn movie. My expectations were low, so that may be why this went over well with me. There was no expectation of realism, so all the issues I would normally tear a movie apart for can just be swept under the rug. I'm generally anti-Kevin Hart, but he toned it way down and didn't try to turn every sentence into a unfunny joke. He was actually acceptable in this. I love Gugu Mbatha-Raw, but the supporting cast really carried the movie.

"Lift" offers predictable thrills and a charming cast, but its absurd heist plot and lack of originality may leave you grounded.

This was a decent heist movie. But the most interesting part of the movie was seeing Hart playing a dramatic role that is not littered with comedy bits.

Typical theft movie but I found myself enjoying it more than expected! I’m not a big fan of Kevin Hart but I even found myself enjoying his performance more than expected although none of the actors were particularly great.
For some reason, I just enjoyed watching it.

Entertaining (but a Netflix movie 😉)
