French movies are getting better and better each year!

Beautiful action movie. The action scenes where very good. The story is not new, but it is played and delivered very good. Didn’t see that amount of action coming in the end. That elevator scene was something different.

Some incredible, fast, and hard-hitting fight choreography. I also found a character in Samir that I ended up caring about (even if he is pretty two dimensional).

The elevator fight is one of the best action scenes I have seen. Up there with Raid 2 kitchen scene and Man From Nowhere knife fight.

Mayhem! is an adrenaline-fueled powerhouse that grabs you by the collar and never lets go. Think Taken meets The Raid, with a relentless pace and bone-crunching action that keeps your pulse pounding from start to finish. It’s unapologetically brutal, stylish, and packed with raw energy—the kind of film that feels like a visceral punch to the gut in the best way possible.

At its core, Farang combines the emotional stakes of a desperate man on a mission with the jaw-dropping, tightly choreographed combat sequences that elevate it into action movie nirvana. The fight scenes are ferocious, blending gritty realism with slick cinematography that makes every punch, kick, and weapon strike hit like a freight train.

What sets Farang apart is its ability to balance heart and chaos. While the comparisons to Taken are warranted in its story of a man willing to risk everything, the sheer intensity of its action choreography rivals that of The Raid. It’s a perfect storm of tension, thrills, and expertly executed mayhem.

This film will be popular with fans of hard-hitting action like John Wick or The Night Comes for Us. If you’re in the mood for a wild ride with zero brakes, Farang is a must-watch.

A very simple unoriginal premise and basically a copy of *John Wick*. It's as predictable as it sounds but if you're looking for that quality adrenaline action, ***Mayhem!*** delivers. The main character's a badass and everything with his family throughout the movie was well executed. Most of my rating is for the action though, great choreography, so bloody and the camerawork is worth a praise as it follows every move. The elevator scene was peak I had a huge smile on my face the whole time, i'll remember that one for a while. I like the action sets and the village where it takes place. Unexpected twist and good ending.

The positive here are the fight sequences as they were well shot and didn’t hold back. The negative is the very generic plot line that doesn’t really bring anything new to the table in terms of story. Still a decent watch.

About the first hour is just the generic 'ex-con builds up new life but fucks it up again'-storyline. After that follows an unintentional comedic stealth scene, then the gory action you probably want to see, and finally an ridiculous ending. This movie is just very unoriginal.

Farang (AKA Jean Wick) is like a lightweight boxing glove: not very subtle, you see where it's going and doesn't pack much of a punch.

A French ex-con tries to turn his life around but gets dragged back into the criminal underworld because of cliches, slow motion and bad decisions.
