Conan the Destroyer

Conan is commissioned by the evil queen Taramis to safely escort a teen princess and her powerful bodyguard to a far away castle to retrieve the magic Horn of Dagoth. Unknown to Conan, the queen plans to sacrifice the princess when she returns and inherit her kingdom after the bodyguard kills Conan. The queen's plans fail to take into consideration Conan's strength and cunning and the abilities of his sidekicks: the eccentric wizard Akiro, the warrior woman Zula, and the inept Malak. Together the hero and his allies must defeat both mortal and supernatural foes in this voyage to sword-and-sorcery land.

Nowhere near as epic and cool as the first one but a fun redickulous watch..typical sequel mistakes include too much comedy and toned down violence but gott dayyum Grace Jones makes repeat viewings necessary..theres a lot of badass chicks in cinema from Ripley to Sarah Connor, Princess Leia etc but Zula up there boiiiiiiii...how you get a man again?? Grab him!.

It's about as poor of a step back as you can take. This is what happens when you take a hard-edged, popular movie and water it down for a kiddie audience. It happened to RoboCop, it happened to Terminator, so I guess it had to happen to Conan...

The days of high adventure continue in...._Conan the Destroyer_. In this adventure Conan must battle wizards and dark magics as he leads a quest to retrieve a sacred horn that will awaken the pagan god Dagoth. The film is quite different than the first one, in that it has stronger fantasy themes and attempts to be more lighthearted and comedic; pairing Conan with a comedy sidekick, and giving Schwarzenegger a number of one-liners. Newcomer Olivia d’Abo holds her own with Schwarzenegger and has an equally magnetic screen presence. Despite its different style, _Conan the Destroyer_ is a typical sword-and-sorcery film that delivers plenty of action and carnage.

Paco Cinema 1: Picture and sound 2.75 / 5 sound. seems an episode of Xena, Conan is ridiculous with blond hair and that tape. The music is the same as the one sounded very low but we put sound 75
