I recently had a nostalgic experience that I wanted to share. I rewatched 'Scooby-Doo 2002', a movie that holds a special place in my childhood.

Although I hadn't seen it for a while and couldn't remember every detail, watching it again brought back a surge of memories. As a kid, I owned a copy of this movie, but somehow, over the years, I seem to have misplaced it.

Despite not having the original DVD anymore, it was truly wonderful to take a trip down memory lane and relive those moments. The only regret is, I have no idea what happened to my DVD of this cherished film.

It's a good movie with a lot of quotable parts. There is a little bias in there because of my nostalgia glasses. But even all these years later, I found that it was an enjoyable watch.

Watching this as a child and watching it as an adult are two completely different experiences.

Freddie Prinze Jr. “though the dancing ritual part is funny” is miscast as Fred and is either dying his hair or wearing goofy wigs. While Fred and Daphne getting romantic is forced.
Matthew Lillard as Shaggy and Linda Cardellini as Velma are perfect. Scooby himself is particularly awesome. Scrappy is wasted though since apparently they think all fans hated him.
What hurts the film is unnecessary fart scenes and some cheesy moments. Other than that I can't say I don't like this movie.
It is hard to believe James Gunn wrote the script though. The story isn’t that great and the movie is just a guilty pleasure and not enough like the show.
Matthew Lillard should have got top billing since this is his movie. Despite his acting needing work when he no sells Scooby-Doo kicking him in the face. Other than that he was great.
