One of the best movies of the 90's, Harrison Ford as his very best,I could not imagine any other actor playing the role, Harrison does it perfectly,one of the best actor's of Hollywood...10/10

watched this one tonight and yes it still a lot Fun

What’s with the awful CGI at the end… they ran out of budget surely… good movie none the less

Roger Ebert’s negative review does explain the movie perfectly. The President (Harrison Ford) does take on each terrorist, conveniently one on one. Without anyone else around each time.
That doesn’t mean the film is bad. Otherwise it’s quite entertaining and fun. Especially since the President can’t only kick ass. He of course can also fly a plane.

"Your national security advisor has just been executed. He's a very good negotiator. He bought you another half hour."

I should have watched this one way sooner. Die Hard on a plane with a great cast, charming special effects, great villain (Gary Oldman always rocks), great lead (Harrison Ford is good here) and all in the hands of Wolfgang Petersen.

Air Force One has been hijacked and our crew of bad guys led by Gary Oldman want to use the President of the United States to demand the release of a dictator. You get Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Glen Close, William H. Macy, Xander Berkeley and many more. It has great action, great lines and I think it is an very rewatchable movie. I went into it without any prior knowledge and I still can't believe how this one stayed under my radar for so long.

So yeah, I really liked Air Force One and if you are like me and Air Force One flew under you radar, you might want to check it out!

The President of the United States is Superman.

This has everything you want in a stereotypical American action movie: Harrison Ford sneers a lot, the Russians are the bad guys and you get to root for your country to defeat the bad guys. The action and the drama are really good, even though there are a lot of plot holes (but it is an action movie, so who cares?). This would be a good example of an action movie that is rewatchable.

I thought that this action movie was a fully written (i mean, it didn't end with [spoiler]main villain dies[/spoiler]). [spoiler]Main character was the president[/spoiler] which was very cool to see someone [spoiler]with high power[/spoiler] being the main action hero in a serious action movie.

Movie reminds me of Non-Stop yet at least still as good as that movie i think. I also liked the political situation from this movie. It wasn't always black and white [spoiler]and the characters in the white house were also not just being dumb i think.[/spoiler] The antagonist was actually good with it's reasons and beliefs. Also [spoiler]the speech from the main character[/spoiler] in the beginning of the movie was very good as well!

I thought also the movie had [spoiler]a cool method transporting people from plane to plane.[/spoiler] Props.

The not good: Maybe one action scenario a bit less believable i think [spoiler]is the gasoline situation (not sure how it caught fire, Maybe the high winds?).[/spoiler] Also [spoiler]the mole character was not much done than being the mole.[/spoiler] Although what done with it wasn't bad. But there could be done more i think.

Overall, solid action movie i think. Might have overrated this movie for myself but i can't deny: This is one of the better action movies I've watched so far.

Despite the two hour run time, it is a pretty solid action film. Also, I don't care for the 90s symphony music as BGM to set the patriotic ambience, it's just so out of time.
