Good movie. Back when Jessica was super hot.
The movie does it job for an weekend entertainment movie.
Watching back to back Dane Cook rom coms is a weird pitch and certainly not something I even considered doing a decade and a half after they came out. Good Luck Chuck is fun, but Dax Shepard and Andy Dick make this one much more quotable. This one will forever have a soft spot in my heart and I cannot help but feel this inspired Superstore.

This lighthearted comedy stars Dane Cook as Zack, a slacker box boy at a wholesale store, who finds himself smitten with the new cashier, Amy (Jessica Simpson). To win her heart, Zack decides to become the employee of the month, a title previously held by his nemesis, Vince (Dax Shepard).
If you're a fan of silly humor and familiar faces (including Andy Dick and Brian George), you'll likely enjoy this movie. It's not a masterpiece, but it's a fun, easy watch. The cast delivers solid performances, and the script has some genuinely witty moments. While it won't win any awards, Employee of the Month is a pleasant way to pass the time.
Give it a try if you're in the mood for something lighthearted and comedic. Just don't expect too much depth or complexity.
It's fine. I certainly thought it would be a little funnier, but I guess it has plenty of "air out the nose" level jokes to make a decent watch out of it. But overall from plot to characters it's just kinda okay. The most entertaining thing about it was that it was very clearly a Costco lol.
Dane Cook cracks me up but boy does he have some super cheesy lines in this.
Dane Cook delivers the laughs in the screwball comedy Employee of the Month. When a new cashier catches the eye of stock boy Zack Bradley, he attempts to win her favor by winning employee of the month; but to do so he’ll have to defeat the current 17 time champion Vince Downey. Cook gives a solid performance, as do his co-stars Jessica Simpson and Dax Shepard. And the comedy is especially well-done, providing some clever and humorous satire about big-box stores. Still, it’s a pretty formulaic rom-com, with the usual clichés. Yet while it may lack in originality, Employee of the Month is fun and entertaining.
