Fast and Furious 1 vs Point Break: I love them both.

There are robberies that the police are unable to solve.
A rookie FBI Agent is sent undercover and infiltrates the group to see if they are the robbers.
The group enjoys adrenaline.
The leader is charismatic and everyone is always around him.
The Agent begins to enjoy the same adventures and adrenaline as the group.
When the Agent approaches the group, he ends up falling in love with the girl who is part of the group.
The Agent likes tuna sandwiches.
On dates they always drink beer, of course the beer is Corona.
When the girl finds out he is an Agent she gets angry with him.
The Agent's boss says that he's not thinking straight anymore because he got too close to the group.
The Agent chases the leader and at least one member of the group ends up dying.
In the end, the Agent captures the leader, but feels he owes something and lets him escape.
The leader follows his destiny, the Agent turns his back and follows his path too.
In real life, one of the actors died a few years ago.
The film was inspired by a newspaper article.
A famous musician is in the film.

At first, the male lead started to laugh in an adorable and silly way, handsome yet cute.

Back in 2001 we all wanted a Riced-up Honda EG8 in our garage after watching this movie. Great memories!

If someone told us back then that this movie will spawn a decades long franchise that would one day star Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren, we would have asked for a hit from whatever that dude was smoking at the time. 😁

I mean, look at the line-up for Fast X planned for release in 2023 --> https://trakt.tv/movies/fast-x-2023

The original! The OG. The one that started it all! Absolutely love this series, and this is where it all began.

I have been watching TFATF films for 18 years. I cannot be objective about them, they are awesome. Also nonsensical.

The Fast and Furious franchise starts off incredibly with this movie. Back then, everything was simpler—no flying cars or people dodging missiles with their bare hands. Here, you'll find the best of underground racing, tuned-up cars, family, and pure adrenaline. The script delivers exactly what you expect from a movie in this genre, while also introducing an unforgettable romance that leaves a lasting mark. The perfect dose of suspense, combined with the special effects and camera direction, is impressive, especially for a film released in 2001. I highly recommend this classic. It's a true gem that everyone should watch at least once in their life—definitely on my list of must-watch movies.

Such a great car movie. This film has everything an adrenaline filled male wants, but the plot actually flows quite nicely and has good twists that make this a quality film in addition to the entertainment factor and maybe thats why the series became such a big hit, as the first film was so good right off the bat. You get everything from hot romance to action to edge of your seat plot twists as this film follows two men from different sides, as an undercover cop tries to crack down on street racing but most importantly the truck raids and black market deals, but in the midst of it all he begins to develop an unexpected bond with the group he's tailing which makes for an expected cliff hanger at the end of the film.

>"Yo Einstein! Take it upstairs. You can't detail a car with the cover on."

And:

>"He's got nitrous oxide in his blood and a gas tank for a brain."

This movie shoots women the way it shoots cars. Or is it the other way around?

I fear my crush on Jordana Brewster has been reactivated
