It’s great seeing Cameron Diaz in a lighthearted movie again. It’s been so long since her last movie, I thought she retired or something. The movie turning out to be good was just an added bonus.
I enjoyed it. Would recommend. And yeah, I am a GenX. It was damn good.
A surprisingly good action spy comedy.
One of the characters (Nigel) I couldn't get behind and think it would of been a better film without him but the action scenes were well made and enjoyable to watch.

I really enjoyed this spy/family/comedy/action movie.
I actually enjoyed this movie. It's like the kingdom meets charlies angels. It's action with a big dose of comedy.Retired agents have to come out of retirement for another mission but with the family.
It's a good genx action movie. Though perhaps that's not what I should call it. saving the kids in danger is more a 90s thing as supposed to saving the wife/lover plot. Still, very much looking forward to the sequel.
This is a good movie to pass the time with some popcorn and the kids.
Cameron and Jamie are good in their return to acting.
And also good for Foxx before his stroke.
>"Don't you ever fantasize about just popping down to South America, stopping a coup, or starting a coup, either way, I mean, just some good old-fashioned couping!"
This was fun! Sure, it's got that glossy clean Netflix sheen. And the spy story is completely inconsequential. But it knows exactly what it is, and it's all the better for it.
The action is unconvincing but fun. The family story is actually pretty sweet. Most importantly, Fox & Diaz are great together.
At 19:40 you can see that Emily has her daughter's number saved as "Alice Reynolds" lmao
>"So, should we hug or something?"
"No, no, no. I'm British. We don't hug. But you can pick up that dead bird."
Very reminiscent of 2000s family action movies with a bit of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and hit or miss comedy sprinkled between. It's not meant to be taken seriously and should just be viewed as is. I enjoyed seeing Cameron Diaz in a somewhat action film again but was a bit disappointed by the lack of more actions and or fight scenes. I wished they did more of the Mr. & Mrs. stuff part than the family movie part but it was still a fun watch.
This is an average movie. It does not have any bad elements but it also doesn't have any good elements. The plot is pretty cliche. Acting is okay. Action scenes are average.
