excellent series a lot of black and sexy black humor.
Looking forward to season 2!
I grew fond of all of the main characters and rooted for them to succeed. Plenty of laughs and plot developments too.
One of the best new tv shows, HBO Max as usual knocking it out of the park, highly recommend
interesting series proposal ... I highly recommend it
Very likeable first season. Strong characters, well written plot & a good sense of humor. Finally a more relaxed realistic view on feminism imho. Not sure if the retro society shown is/was realictic at all though...anyways.
Such a fun show. Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson are so damn likable, and the editing and pacing are excellent.
The aesthetic and plot of this show made for some easy viewing. It's biggest downfall is ultimately the first season was much better than the second. I think if they could have kept the quality of the first season up into the second, it may have latched onto enough of an audience to be renewed longer.
Average Season Review: 7.5/10
Recommendation: Watch If You Need Content (For HBO Comedy Fans)
Feminist sex education is what I describe it as. I liked the second season I hope they continue
[HBO Max] The show takes advantage of the possibilities offered by the beginning of the porn industry mixed with the birth of feminism in a time of revolutions (racial, sexual, social...) that merge into a complex but balanced narrative that has much to say about disinformation and radicalism. A fantasy atmosphere is set in the 1970s where subversion creates a kind of alternate reality that is radically appealing.
Big drop off in season 2.
Went all gay when it didn't need to... this a magazine for WOMEN not gay photographers
Won't be back if there's a 3rd season.
3/10
