Just finished a binge watch on all 3 seasons - what a fantastic show.
What a fun and odd little series, including straight faced comedy and unusual characters.
Recently started watching and have binged the first 2 seasons so far. It’s a likeable show that is easy to watch although I don’t usually find it hysterically funny and occasionally it seems like it doesn’t quite know what it is. For the most part the show is very dry with deadpan delivery but then there will be a character that is over the top and absurd. Brodan’s character seems like he accidentally wandered in from the Aunty Donna set and the Fisk crew didn’t have the heart to tell him he wasn’t supposed to be there. Tanner was fine in season 1 but Brodan seems out of place (not to the extent that he ruined the episode, so he can rest easy when he undoubtedly reads this).
Towards the end of season 2 the show seemed to pick up and is maybe just starting to hit its stride. The second last episode was actually quite funny… at least by my highly respected estimation.
This series is really quirky. But it is an excellent watch. Very short series though.
Loved Fisk! No stupid laughter tracks like a lot of shows in the US. Just good writing and acting.
