Season 01 is hilarious and I think I will enjoy the rest of the seasons as well! I watched the first few episodes by chance on a plane without having heard anything about this sitcom and was instantly hooked. It is somewhat similar to Malcolm in the Middle and Modern Family, so if you like those give The Middle a try!
The middle is the most "down-to-earth" sitcom I have seen in a long time, heck, it is possibily THE most authentic sitcom ever: no over the top glamorous Hollywood lifestyles or unbelievable and forced comedy but just the daily struggle of a family (the adults struggle with their jobs to provide for the children, the teenagers are trying to fit into this world and the youngest is causing trouble with no end because he is just child).
