Luther

Definitely, one of the best crime thrillers ever conceived and written! You will be seduced by it's clever, dark writing and the spectacular performances of Idris Elba and Ruth Wilson (with an excellent supporting cast - too many stand-out performances to name). This is Neil Cross' masterpiece, from creation to seasonal arcs to individual stories to episodic writing, each piece building toward the series' inevitable reckoning, teasing us on with the end of season's tag line, "Now what?" while the soulful plea "I'm just a soul who's intentions are good..." plays, while credits roll. A beautiful study of genius, license vs. boundaries, and the ultimate consequences of each. I give this series a 10 (brilliant) out of 10. [Crime Thriller]

I loved this series. Preferred earlier seasons though.

What an amazing journey it was with Luther. Five seasons of top quality might be an overstatement, but three of the seasons are truly among the best I have seen. The production feels genuine, and the team behind the show successfully conveys this to the audience.

The performances by Crowley, Brown, Amuka-Bird, and others are well executed. Idris Elba as Luther and Ruth Wilson as Alice are very strong and masterful. The fascinating development of their characters throughout the seasons is captivating. The characters bring forth what’s essential for the viewer, making you want more and more.

Several episodes feature well-crafted stories that capture criminology very well.

Without a doubt, Luther is one of my favorite series and among the best productions in many years. An unquestionable 10/10 rating. A heartfelt thank you to Elba and Wilson for fantastic seasons! ♥

the way Idris Elba portrays the role of Luther I'm just mesmerized that how damn good actor he is. don't miss it, it doesn't have many episodes per seasons but they're so good you'll be addicted.
