Pure gold. The 🐐 of intelligent comedy. Every episode has a key philosophical input that hits deep and hard. Everytime.
I am binged watching it with my girlfriend. We are on episode 4 season 6. . This episode hits hard. We couldn't understand why there were so many sex jokes. And then bam. 💀

We both read philosophy. The creators clearly did as well. It shows. And I'm sure many jokes will go over many heads. It's absolutely brilliant. Its a Must watch.

This show is such a gem! Even now, after almost two decades since it originally aired, it still rings true and holds it humor. My husband and I always joke about what in the world aliens would think of us if they ever landed on Earth on a normal day, and I have to admit that this show seems to answer a lot of our musings! =)

Showed this to my wife as she'd never heard of it. Even now, it still holds strong. John Lithgow is a phenomenal actor and really brings the show together. I don't think another TV gem like this will come around too often

I've wanted to watch this show for ages. Have seen some episodes when I came back from school more than twenty years ago on tv. Finally started watching it and it such a funny series. Such a shame that it's not on any of the big streaming platforms.

A show that always have funny moments, it's a shame the show are not available worldwide on streaming services, it's free in U.S. but unavailable in other countries.

An oldie but still very entertaining. Sure some jokes are now not that funny and some references are a bit faded but still makes me laugh.
It has very clever moments and some nonsense humor bits that still make laugh. The characters are unique and very well though and it makes you think about society in a intelligent and funny way.
And while some episodes are dated in their way of thinking (I'm thinking especially the ones about the "traditional family is better", "being gay is funny" or "computers can't get better") others continue to be true: some things never change.

Definitely better than so many newer sitcoms: It's a classic! If you never watched, give it a try, it might surprise you.

This was a trip to watch through in 2022 - it's a great comedy and comes recommended.
The first couple of seasons took a while to get into, but after the 3rd you become hooked on the characters and want to see how it ends.
The ending is as good as you could expect - it's worth hunting down the alternative ending as well for something different.
The names of the episodes are also very witty at times - a laugh in themselves.

I love this show, I can't stop watching it! Aired in 1996, but it's still wonderful in 2020!!

I used to watch this show as a kid. This show is legendary. The jokes? Rapid-fire, absurd, and still land after all these years. John Lithgow’s physical comedy alone should be in a museum — dude’s a comedic alien genius.

It takes the weirdest setup — aliens trying to blend in as humans — and turns it into one of the sharpest sitcoms ever made. Every episode is a goldmine of one-liners, awkward encounters, and totally bonkers logic... in the best way.

10/10. Heavy laughs, high concept, and timeless comedy. Beam me up, this one’s a classic.
