Heroes

Mannn this is SO good! It's very rare a show has such an impact on my life like Heroes has, I've made friends because of it and I've lost friends because of it! Each season was perfection and I loved each character uniquely, the powers are super cool. I highly recommend this especially if you're looking for not only a show to watch but an _experience_ **10/10**

An absolutely amazing show. I was hooked after the series trailer and I've never looked back. I was just sad that the series had to end. It's a series about humans that use a little more than 5% of their brains and because of this they get different powers. If you want a great show to watch, this is the one for you. The series is so well done. I can still hear "save the cheerleader, save the world"

I'm still amazed by how well done the first season of Heroes was done. I guess that's what makes their downfall hurt that much more. They had a ton of potential if they'd stuck a little closer to the original idea behind the series (new cast of heroes every season) and try to just show people coping with these new powers they've developed. The show had a ton of potential with showing off cool FX, but they were always too constrained by budgetary concerns to show them off as much as they should have. The second season was off to a good start, if a bit muddled with too many storylines intermingled at once and then the writer's strike. The third season they seemed to have lost their focus, but the fourth they seemed to have taken a turn toward improving the series and get back to what made season 1 great, but it was too late. I still really enjoy watching all the episodes and will consider this one of my favorite shows, if even for just the first season.

best show only series i ever cried for

Let's start by saying this FIRST season is one of the greatest television shows of all times...then it goes downhill. Not like drastically downhill, but it never gets close to reclaiming the spark of Season 1. Seasons 2-4 often have pacing and plot inconsistencies, but regardless it is an incredibly fresh take on the superhero drama. If you enjoy the quirks of the storytelling and the interesting characters, I think you will enjoy the sequel seasons, but just be prepared to occasionally scratch your head. It is very much a show that you need to watch from the beginning to appreciate, which is often a detriment to NBC dramas. I believe the worst part of this show is the premature cancellation. Season 4 teases Season 5, and then it never comes. I have watched this show through on two separate occasions and it still feels like there's an itch I am unable to scratch without a proper conclusion. Sure they did a spinoff (which is included in my season average review below), but it was never quite the same as the original star studded cast.
