It's 8 years after it stopped airing and I'm still re-watching it and enjoying the eps. This and Psych are the only ones I can re-watch multiple times. I miss it so much! Looking forward to the Psych Movie on Dec 7th!

"Monk" is a timeless classic that captivates with its brilliant blend of mystery, humor, and heart. Airing on the USA Network from 2002 to 2009, the show revolves around Adrian Monk, a detective plagued by a myriad of fears and quirks. Yet, his brilliance in solving crimes shines through, fueled by his love for his late wife, Trudy.

What sets "Monk" apart is its unwavering consistency. Unlike many shows that evolve over time, "Monk" maintains its charm from the first episode to the last, delivering quirky mysteries that remain delightfully unpredictable. Tony Shalhoub's portrayal of Monk is nothing short of phenomenal, infusing the character with a depth that transcends his comedic compulsions.

The series' heart lies in Monk's enduring struggle with Trudy's death, a narrative thread expertly woven throughout. The chemistry between characters, coupled with a constant stream of humor, creates a feel-good atmosphere that stands the test of time.

As Monk returns for his first-ever film, the anticipation is high. While the central mystery that drove the series has been solved, the question lingers: can the movie capture the essence that made "Monk" a beloved classic? Regardless, the show remains an enduring treasure for audiences, a testament to its unmatched quality and timeless appeal.

Tony Shaloub is an absolute treasure and was able to not only make his OCD detective charming and personable, but also took the audience into his head and let viewers really feel what he was experiencing.

This is an exceptional show, and absolutely should be viewed by everyone.

Great show. Loved sherona. Hated the other girl. So annoying. Wish Ambrose was more in the series that would have been excellent he’s a great actor and seeing the brotherly dynamic would have been fantastic.
