Loved this show. It's been years since it was on but I recall the middle seasons - the Jimmy Smits years - being the best. It kept a high quality till the end though and it was a highlight of the week to watch this.

There is a wealth of fantastic TV shows from the 90s that may have slipped past my radar, and this particular one is a standout. Every aspect is impressive: the engaging dialogue, the stellar acting and performances, the attention to details, and the skilled camerawork that effortlessly immerses us - the viewers - into the world of the show.

2 months later, now that I've completed all 12 seasons, I gotta tell you... the show had me shedding tears almost every episode because of the beautiful moments between characters. The series was able to evoke strong emotions in me. Loved it.
