Amazing show. I was wondering what the fuss is all about until I started watching it, then I just couldn't stop.

this and the torchwood mini series, up there as the best shows ever and shame they are so short in season length :(

I’d like to know because it’s the BEST show I’ve ever seen. It would be a pity if there won’t be any more episodes T^T.

I've not seen anything *surpass* this series. The ostensible commitment not to release even one minute that does not stand up to extreme scrutiny over its worthiness has resulted in this being my long-standing high-bar for truly consistently perfectly considered execution.

Beyond the deliberateness / perfectionism that most uniquely sets it apart from other creations, though…

It notably excels in not only its demonstrated own intelligence (e.g., within the sharpness of the devised plots), but also in its successful *communication* of the deftness of its *characters*. If you thrive on the authentic or impressive depiction of strategy, skill, intellect, craft, domination, or fatally challenging competition, etc. (as found in television creations like Hannibal, Death Note, House M.D., Queen's Gambit, Code Geass, The Fall, among others), this show may be well-suited to your tastes.

I don't have a lot of "fan-girl" shows that I watch just because I love certain actors. This show and Supernatural are my only two "fan-girl" shows. That being said I love it!! <3
