Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill

Such a great series. We better get a season two out of this one. Fantastic animation and voice work. I’ve watched it several times now and in both English and Japanese. And you can’t go wrong with either. It’s also nice to see an isekai where the MC isn’t stupidly op. His familiars sure are though. lol

This anime is so fun to watch since Sui is there.

If you want a chill (slow), moderately funny, slide of life anime, revolving around cooking, then this Anime is for you. I recommend taking notes for this Anime, I didn't know that Japan had so many variety of delicious foods. The truly interesting thing about this Anime is the cooking and the dishes you can research later. It's entertaining and it cheers you up if you are in sa down mood. The action scenes are not very engaging since the main characters are overpowered, but that's expected on a Isekai. The animation is good. The characters are chill, my favorite was the slime (sui), is very cute and useful.

Cute and fun to watch! I don't really like cooking but this makes me want to try cooking all the recipes. The adventure and world building is pretty standard and easy to understand but the most fun part is the character interaction. I've never identified more with an MC than this one when it come to isekai stuff hahahah

This is a good show. I imagine for most people it's an 8 or 9, but I'm an action junkie, so it's a 7 for me. Everything was well done, I'm impressed it could keep me entertained when 80% of it is just one guy and his 2 familiars.

Great characters, funny, and heartwarming...and of course, Sui ❤

This is my jam! An all around wholesome isekai series that doesn't have boobies, fan service or harems.

I can't get enough, because it's literally just an adventure series with (probably) the goal of tasting every single monster they could hunt and turn it into gourmet food. Other than that, I don't think they have any other goal 😆 The trio's just taking every day one adventure at a time, and I honestly just want to see more.

It's a good anime and that's all.

[spoiler]The work of the anime is quite operative and functional. His strategy is very assertive and responsive. The isekai here is quite free without using magic systems or any other type of role playing game. However, his approach is much more contemplative using the pretext of a new world to travel. Power, like all isekai, is the center of the narrative and in this case it has to do with cooking. The idea is very good and creative that establishes a different gender relationship since there is a pleasure in being a simple human.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]After that, there are the monsters. This here is a very interesting strategy. I call it strategy because the development of the narrative needs characters and the choice was to rely on monsters like Digimon and Pokemon. This adds to the contemplative approach and even creates an ecological narrative.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Another aspect is the humor. The idea of the cowardly hero breaks the Japanese hero cliché and creates narrative. This way, the atmosphere of the anime is relaxed and hassle-free.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Therefore, the isekai genre is just a ladder to the slice of live. I believe the anime is quite organized and planned, however it is limited. Once it becomes repetitive and uninteresting because there are no challenges or big plans. If you want something to rest, that's a good idea, however, I have the impression and experience that this has a short shelf life and will never be a priority.[/spoiler]
