Based on the first episode, Task is promising crime drama, but this version of adaptation is stretched to 7 epiaodes, maybe even 2nd season. The slow progressing story was filled in side stories and somewhat unnecessary.
Would I watch it beyond epuaode 1? No.
Why? Simply coz it's too damn slow and the main casts seemed didn't fit their roles.
DEI, or whatever they called themselves nowadays, has a big role in this mini series. That's why immediately I noticed miscast, or rather forced casts.
How Mark Ruffalo got his own show with how shitty of an actor he is, is beside me. Hollywood done lost their fucking minds.
It is a slow, slow burner. Hard to keep my attention.
