I'm not Christian or Jewish, I wouldn't even call myself religious. However, I am a huge fan of Scorsese and was expecting somewhat of a 4 part event. His narration was great, and I liked the almost debate-like conversations between 'experts'. As for the dramatisation and storytelling, it starts at a high and drops drastically throughout each episode. I love historical stories with deep-rooted messages and Scorsese is a film-making legend so the last thing I should feel is bored. Not sure how involved he was as a producer but it can't have been much. Overall, the stories hold clear importance but as a docuseries, it's disappointing.
