I didn't think this was too bad. Ok not the best of writing but not the worst. I guess some of it seemed rushed but it's not one to tax the mind either.

One of the main issues I have with this is that Soldier Boy is a 1 trick pony actor who has as flat a character as ever, just like The Boys and Tracker and this is even worse as this whole series leans on him. Don't expect brilliant plot twists or even any logical events that would realistically happen.
Season 1 could be split in 2 parts as they are very different stories.
The story of 1a makes little sense. Someone wants to nuke USA because he's angry at Belarus and USA. Many scenes make totally no sense or are unrealistic or would only happen in that way if these specialist super agents would be total amateurs.
1b season the story so far (few episodes in) seems to make even less sense. Acting quality of support actors improved (very slightly...) and the conversations are less cringe.
This is about the same level of intelligence as the mentioned Tracker series, which is... Not that impressive.

This is such generic slop. Slap all kinds of clichès together and the result is this.
I can't stress enough just _how_ generic this is. It's astonishing. It's cookie-cutter, copy&paste character tropes you've seen countless times before. The episodic plots, the characters, their traits, relationships and stories, as well as dialogues are uninspired and/or nonsense throughout.
"You are a team of allstars from your respective departments, now let your other supervisor tell you why we're here" - "I am very competitive, so bring your A game". Well, yes, that's why they are a team of allstars, you idiot...

This is a secret "task force" that just happens to be in the middle of whatever is happening each episode for no reason other than "action", to catch the audience' attention. There's no plan whatsoever, no "task forcing", no depth whatsoever, it's all just falling conveniently together for the next action to happen.
These days people too often and too lightly claim something is AI, but in this particular case I just can't shake the feeling that at least parts of this slop are written by an AI because of its - ironically - outstanding genericness.
From Dean Winchester to Soldier Boy to this. Yikes.

Bell is miscast because too young and unbelievable in his role, Beane is the eye-candy that's hidden away in the "office" most of the time, Camacho just a love-or-friend relationship plot device for Ackles. Oh and Latukefu, he's the muscle hire in this putting Keanu Reeves wooden performances to shame.

But you know what? While it's absolute trash, it's the enjoyable kind of trash without any longterm merits. Once watched and cancelled you'll never think about this again but while it is airing it's a decent second screen time waster. If not mainly for Dane and Ackles who at least try to get something out of the terrible material they are given (and the absurdity of it all).

This is so bad it’s great. It’s like watching the love child of 24 and Sharknado.

I had high hopes for this show, but 3 episodes in and it's not what I was expecting. Slow, mostly boring and subpar acting. Shame, cause if it had a better script and took on a much more serious tone, I think it could have been great... but sadly it falls flat on it's face.

It's such a shame that Ackles' acting doesn't fit outside of Supernatural. He didn't have a lot of acting to do in The Boys. I loved Supernatural, so I'm always rooting for him, but he's bad.
