This is probably the first dark fantasy medieval anime I’ve ever watched, and it’s genuinely intriguing. The show tackles heavy and emotional topics that form the core of the story, and it does so in a way that always keeps me on the edge of my seat. I end up finishing episodes in the blink of an eye, constantly wanting more.
The story feels unique, the animation and art style are excellent and perfectly match the dark tone, and—god—the music in OP and ED… I’m loving every second of it. This is definitely one of the top anime of the season and absolutely worth your time if you’re into this genre.
