Been watching anime from back in the late 80s as a kid before realizing it was anime and in the 90s hunting down all the VHS versions. I always appreciated the old school anime and the artwork put into them, and anime these days is honestly great, there is a lot of good quality anime these days, but from the old school days I remember Inuyasha, Ninja Scroll, Guyver, Ghost in the Shell and a few more.

Honestly never saw Ranma 1/2 from back in the day but the 2024 version has that same old school feel with a fresh look that I can appreciate. Light hearted and funny action that is a joy to watch.

Loving the story, making me laugh and I really hope this show goes on for a long while because it's a good one.

Loving this straightforward version. The love-hate relationship between Ranma and Akane looked genuine and funny.

This is a pretty good remake of the original from the 80s. I've watched the entire original anime (160+ episodes) and OVAs in the past, and it's one my favorite rom-com series ever. I'm a huge Rumiko Takahashi fan as well, and this is one of my favorite series from her. I really like the art style and design so far. It gives off a retro vibe while looking very clean in HD. I rewatched some of the early original episodes to compare a bit and the studio has done a good job adapting it so far. The pace is a bit better/faster and there is less filler which makes things move along a bit more briskly. I'm looking forward to see how much gets adapted, but so far so good. Welcome back, Ranma!

Seen first episode. Total remake. Pretty much same so far. Will see as it goes. Don’t like the voices. And they say there names strangely

Damned!... till now I'm finding out that they did an updated version with better graphics of such an iconic classic from the "80s" of which I didn't finished watching it while I was a child in the "2000s" till my late "20s" in the "2010s", but now that I know of this is that I'm so very much for looking forward to see if they don't butcher it just like they did with the 2019 reboot of "Saint Seiya" by swapping the gender of male character of "Andromeda Shun" into a female character just cuz the douchebag writer (Eugene Son) of the series was annoyed with the members of the "Bronze Knights" from the original series in all of them being guys and for that decision of his... the series received backlash from fans of the original series; but then I highly doubt that they'll butcher it.

About the writer in being a douchebag... how could his stinkass not have thought that his pathetic decision of a total waste would've been seen by the fans of the original series from the "80s" in being ok when he instead should've finish the classical one in dubbing the arc of "Hades"?!?!?

It's awesome that they did a bit of a reboot on this classic. I've only watched one episode, as I usually like to wait for a series/season to end and binge. It'll be interesting to see what they'll do for happosai in these woke times.
