Dexter: Resurrection

Despite the losers crying around, Dexter is always gonna be at the top of my lists . Extremely hyped as always. The better the Dexter.

Just Watched First two episodes, and WOW!! Just WOW!!! The GOOD OLD DEXTER VIBES. Believe me it was 10x more than what i expected. Don’t want to spoil it for Dexter Fam i will keep it short, Just go and watch it, you’ll love it, i can vouch for it. This Journey is going to be special, i personally want multiple seasons this time. Michael C. Hall is looking 10 years younger than NB episodes. Damn good times are back.

I have waited until episode 3 was out to give my take on this.

Not very different… only so many times one can hear the same old speals… it gets better a few episodes in.

If this is real I have only one question: ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME????
I mean really: you effed up the ending twice now - best thing about the new blood episodes was that the original ending not sucking as hard as it did before. It was quite interesting and watchable but I really hated the finale.
And now you bring him back a second time?? I don’t think that’s a good idea at all…convince me otherwise (pleeeease)!!

EDIT: it is August, 8th today and we are 5 episodes into this new Dexter series and I have to thankfully admit my older self who wrote the upper part of this comment was bloody wrong!!!
And again: I could not be happier about me being proven wrong. The characters are nice, there are no strange side stories - in fact it is Dexter dealing with his relationship with Harisson and his own persona which means being a serial killer and a social interacting human being (eg with his neighbor). It is really well written and I am enjoying it. Let’s hope it doesn’t go south!!! We know the weakness of Dexter seasons lies within the last one or two episodes (always the „wrapping up“ seems to be difficult for Clyde)…

I‘m thrilled about this. Unlike some of the other early commenters here i will wait with my verdict until i actually saw the show. And to be honest: i can not imagine they will able to fuck this up like the shitshow that was season 8.
