Surface 9*: I really liked this show! Great cast and a good story. Only 15 episodes so it didn’t feel like it was dragging on much. They keep the story tight and moving forward. The season ending was satisfying and it left a lot to the imagination on where a season 2 could go.
Invasion 7*: also a decent show with a great cast and a promising story. It was way too long though resulting in whole episodes that veer away from the main story line. I didn’t really feel a sense on where a season 2 would go so the ending was not that satisfying. I think it might have been better to make it a miniseries. Edit: way too many fake vehicle rollovers too!
Threshold 6*: also a decent show with a great cast and a promising story. I wanted to like this show more but they went the procedural route (solve a problem every week) instead of doing the big story arc. As a result a number of episodes were kind of boring and didn’t lend much to the story. Way too much time spent on the food!
