Honestly, watched only because I like John Simm. The first episode or two felt hokey but from them on, I was hooked. If anything the music allow is a solid 10.

It's a bit of a hokey concept, but a lot of British shows tip toe into the sci fi like this. it was very imaginative.

The ending is not what I expected, and since it doesn't explain how he got back (if you watch you'll get what I'm saying), you basically are left to fill that yourself. I don't see how they could do a 3rd season as one comment suggested. Leave it be would be my two cents.

I was really hoping for this to blow my mind as it is very highly rated by viewers and critics alike, but it turned out to be really a regular procedural with fantasy elements, and these elements weren't really well written and the end was really shambolic. Colour me dissapointed.
